You will join a multi-disciplinary and international team of engineers, scientists and clinicians and contribute to the development of state-of-the-art technologies to detect and quantify cancerous lesions from medical imaging. Your contribution will be integrated into software prototypes aiming at assisting radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment planning of cancers.


This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As an AI scientist intern, you will be responsible for :

  • design new neural network architectures and/or training strategies to push the state of the art
  • Benchmark performance with baseline algorithms
  • Interact with clinicians to integrate medical knowledge into training pipeline
  • Delivering inference code with productization standards
  • Contribute to the documentation of the team’s research (scientific publications, patents, technical documentations)

The position is based in Saint Denis (93) then in La Defense from the beginning of 2023 for a 6 month internship


Required skills to have for the success of this role:

  • Current graduate students in Computer Science Master’s program
  • In depth knowledge of Machine Learning principles and practices
  • Hands-on coding skills in Python, Deep Learning libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.), C/C++, and other relevant coding skills
  • Good knowledge in image processing and statistics is a plus
  • A first experience (project or internship) in medical imaging is a plus
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is required
